Hello Everyone!
Welcome to pumpkin season! I hope you are enjoying delicious cinnamon and pumpkin-flavored items (shout out to the classmates that post reviews of places and products to check out- y’all have a special place in my heart).
In addition to the arrival of Fall, it is also almost Halloween. So, I am sharing some spine-tingling candy shops in Arizona for you to check out! I researched each candy shop’s Yelp page and their websites to bring you this list- please enjoy!
#3: Cerreta Fine Chocolates (5345 W Glendale Ave Glendale, AZ 85301)
With 4.5 stars on Yelp, this candy shop totes some fantastic reviews about their candies and
the experiences they have to offer. This shop is also a factory which you can tour and explore! They have a wide selection of sugar-free options and an even more extensive selection for those of you with a sweet tooth. Here are some highlights from the Yelp reviews: custom-made chocolates for your everyday needs, reminds you of your grandmother’s house, make your own chocolate, individually wrapped chocolate-covered chili peppers, make your own chocolate pizza, a gem in the desert.
*Note: They are closed on Sundays.
#2: The Sedona Fudge Company (257 N State Rte 89A Sedona, AZ 86336)
Are you looking to treat yourself after waking up early to hike the beautiful trails of Sedona? This family-owned shop that has been making hand-crafter fudge since 1982 can do the trick. Like Krispy Kreme, they provide customers with a glimpse into the fudge-making process with an open kitchen concept. You can watch them make fresh batches of fudge, candy apples, cookies, barks, truffles, dipped fruits, and many more! Some honorable mentions on Yelp: benevolent employees, chocolate-covered cheesecakes, Mackinac Island fudge, heat-sturdy fudge, sugar-free items, delicious and cost-worthy fudge.
#1: Sweeties Candy of Arizona (1986 N Alma School Rd Chandler, AZ 85224)
Do you have a favorite childhood candy like Wonder Ball or Lemonhead that you can’t find
anymore? You might find it here! According to the website, they are the largest candy store
in Arizona! If you love grocery shopping and candy, this grocery shop-like candy store is almost 13,0000 sq. ft. of deliciousness. They even have a selection of pickles and a variety of intriguing sodas! Some noteworthy mentions from the Yelp reviews: delicious chocolate-covered gummy bears, bacon soda, whole scorpion candies, Mexican candies, sweet corn soda.
*Note: They are closed on Sunday and Monday.
I hope my little list has inspired you to visit one of these shops when you happen to be passing by someday. Always remember to rinse your mouth after you eat candy, and try not to snack on candy every hour throughout the day!
See y’all next month, and thank you for reading!
